JUNIOR COACHING 1 (JC1)
Children in this squad have usually completed JT 1 - 5 or reached Aberdeen City Council Aqua 5 level. This squad trains 3 times a week.

JUNIOR COACHING 2 (JC2)
Promotion to this squad, which trains 4 times a week, for 5.5 hours in total, is dependant on the progress of the swimmer through JC1. This is assessed by the Head Coach, who looks at the child's attendance record, attitude to training and also their personal swimming times.

JUNIOR COACHING 3 (JC3)
This is the top squad for young swimmers within the club and trains 5 times a week, for 7 hours in total. Entry to this squad is also determined by the Head Coach.

JC DEVELOPMENT SQUAD
This is the top squad for swimmers, aims are COAST entry, North District Championships and Scottish National Events.

This squad is for swimmers who no longer wish to train on a regular basis, but want to remain within the club and swim for 2 sessions a week.

City of Aberdeen Swim Team (COAST)
The club is a member of the City of Aberdeen Swim Team (COAST). If swimmers achieve entry times they can train with the COAST Junior Age Group squad and compete at District and/or National level.
