David Carry's Charity Swim

The Aberdeen Charity Swim - message from David Carry

The key reasons for my involvement is that anyone of any ability can take part and raise money for their own charity in the fantastic world class 50m pool in Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon of the 11th May.

Keri-anne Payne ( my wife and Olympic silver medalist) and I will be on hand to cheer, support and maybe even give some swimming tips on the day!

This is a charity event being run by the Aberdeen Rotary club, a brainchild of my Dad, Peter Carry.

The format of the event allows people of any ability to take part either as an individual, a team of four or even a team of 15.

Every team or individual gets 20mins to do as much (or little!) as they want.

The registration fee goes directly to the charities represented on the day and any money you are able to raise over and above the registration fee goes directly to the cause of your choice so could be a fantastic club fundraiser.
