British Swimming have selected Stuart McIntosh to attend an Open Water Swimming Talent Camp in the South of France from June 3rd to 12th 2011, this camp will incorporate two 5km French Cup Events. Congratulations Stuart and the best of luck from all of us @ BODASC.
On the final day at Tollcross, Stuart McIntosh won Silver in the 800 Free event in the morning session, Daniel Smith finished 5th in the 200 Back final and was part of the 4 x 100 Free relay team which won Silver, congratulations to all the swimmers who took part over the four days. COAST came second to Warrender as top club with only 10 points separating the two - exciting swimming to the end of the competition! Great effort from all COAST swimmers, Well Done!
Day three at Tollcross Park saw Daniel Smith, Calum Fowler and Stuart McIntosh all swim in the 400 Free all in good placing in the finishing order. Stuart McIntosh made the finals for both 200 IM and 100 Back finishing in 6th and 9th respectively - Well Done!
More great swims today with Zoe Grant reaching the final in both 200 back and 100 Fly and Daniel Smith was a member of the City of Aberdeen 4 x 100 Free relay team winning Bronze, Congratulations!
Congratulations to our medalists and finalists after day one at Tollcross Park, Stuart McIntosh won bronze for 1500 Free in the morning session, while Zoe Grant won bronze in the 100 Back final and Daniel Smith came seventh in the 100 Free final swam in the evening session - Well Done!
